Does anyone have a great OB in Bedford or nearby? It is time for my annual plus I believe that I may be pregnant again(#4)!!!
Anyway- I have an OB who delivered my 3rd child in Sept. of 05 but I really don't like him which in turn makes for a miserable experience and leads to me not scheduling my appts. So please-anyone who absolutely loves their ob in or near Bedford please send me their name and number.
Thanks ladies!

What can I do next?

The woman's group at Harris Methodist HEB was great. My Dr was Dr Webster, but they let you have appointments with all of them before just in case. i am glad i was in a women's group because with both of mine by dr was out of town and i was so happy to be guaranteed a female dr. (just a personal preference)

good luck and congrats!

I go to Dr. Gilda Cipriano. LOVE HER!! She is also across from HEB hospital. There are two women doctors (Dr. Sprudeon--LOVE HER TOO--and a new one I haven't met) at her practice and one male. When you are pregnant you start out w/ your doctor and then you are rotated through all the others so you get to meet them if they are the ones on-call to deliver. They always take their time with you. . .

Also, I delivered both my children at HEB and their facilites are FABULOUS!! The rooms are HUGE! And the nurses are really nice. I think the rooms are larger than at Baylor Grapevine.

Dr. Beverly Wood in Bedford is amazing. She has been my OB since I was 18 years old. She has delivered both of my babies. She is very personable and she has kids of her own too. I live in Coppell and I work in Lewisville and I drove to Bedford during both of my pregnancies. I highly recommend her! Her office is right next to HEB Harris Methodiist Hospital (great hospital too)!

Thank,
N.

I can think of 3 great OB-GYNs in the Bedford/ Euless area, if you are looking for an all womens practice Dr Prentiss is great as I hear her associates are also (all women). Dr Reimer does high risk ob as well as a huge following of normal pregnancies and they all deliver at HEB. If you like a smaller hospital so you get better more personal attention, try Dr Alcalen who is a wonderful lady OB that just had her second child at North Hills Hospital or Dr Allen who also practices at North Hills and all of his patients just rave about him. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. I also think Dr Gagnon is very knowledgeable and Baylor Grapevine is a good hospital. If you are not overwhelmed by names at this point remember you are hiring them, becoming the employer that is hiring a well educated and experienced person to manage something very dear to you. Your health and safe delivery of your child. Don't be afraid to interview, ask questions and visit offices so that you can evaluate the staff and surroundings as well. Find out who returns your calls and when. Do they have a practitioner who see's you or does the Dr see you most of the time. Is the nurse an LVN, Rn or medtech? How do they feel about childbirth styles and methods that you have opinions about and will they work with you?
Good Luck, most of the Dr's out there are just hard working, intelligent and caring people dedicated to thier patients.

The Women's Group in Bedford is great! Dr. Carson-Henderson is my doctor and I'd reccommend her to anyone! She was there for me night and day while I was pregnant! Dr. Webster, also with the group, was wonderful the few times I had to see her! Congrats and good luck!
