weve been to the dentist and we found out my daughter must have had an injury because her front baby tooth died and never fell out on its own as they said it would. shes nine and has one adult front tooth. and no tooth in the place where they had to pull her baby tooth because it didnt fall out on it own . they said that it started to attatch to the adult tooth that hadnt fully grown in. now the adult tooth has room but hasnt grown in??? whats to happen??

What can I do next?

My daughter is 8 and for the longest time she had "cute little bunny teeth", she only had her two front adult teeth while the teeth right beside were taking their sweet time growing in. They've finally come in and I think they were just waiting for her face to grow so they had room. Teeth are funny things.

Have you asked your dentist because I don't think there are any dentists that post here.

One of my kids was missing a baby tooth - never came in. It's rare, but it does happen.

An xray will tell you if there's a tooth to come in. Our regular dentist is the one who does those xrays for us.

If you are missing a tooth, they have options for you. Good luck :)

If I understand what you are saying, your daughters tooth was injured and it was pulled out and the new one hasn't come in.

My son had one tooth pulled due to injury and abcess, and the other one was knocked out in a scooter incident (this kid is SO accident prone). He is almost 10, and he has one tooth that has grown back and the other just started too (barely can see it). He has been missing his teeth for over a year.

The dentist should be able to tell if the tooth is up there....if it is, its just a matter of time for it to come down. Whether or not a tooth is there or gone, they come down in their own time.

My niece is almost 10 and her front adult top tooth just came in. They xrayed her to make sure it was there and it was...it was just really slow coming down although the other top tooth came down about a year ago.

My family has a history of a missing i tooth. It just doesnt show up. My aunt is missing 2 and my neice is missing one. Missing teeth does happen but a simple xray from the dentist will tell you if its there or not. As far as making it come down I dont know if they can do that but its all in the dentists hands.
