If you like country, I really like "I Can Love You" by Gary Allan. Not a single, but very good.

If you want something everyone will know, I second "Wing Beneath My Wings" by Bette Midler.

Congratulations!!!

My hubby and his mom danced to 'Lean on Me.' (Bill Withers?) It was beautiful, and easy to dance to. Congrats!

My dad and I danced to "Danny Boy" because it has special meaning in our family - that could be apropos for a mother/son too.

What a fun task - I will hopefully be mother of the groom 3x (no MOB for me) and as I hear songs I make mental notes about what I can suggest if those wonderful days ever come - have fun and congrats!

There's a beautiful song on the CD "All the Road Running" by Emmy Lou Harris and Mark Knopfler call "Love and Happiness". The first time I heard it I knew it was going to be our dance.

How very sweet and many blessings for your son's wedding.

At my wedding, my husband danced with his mother to the song "Unforgettable" by Nat King Cole. There is a version with Natalie Cole as well.

This past weekend, I was at my cousin's wedding and he danced with his mom to, "The way you look tonight" by Frank Sinatra

Another thought would be Rod Stewart's version of "Have I told you lately".

Good luck!

My hubby and I danced with our parents at the same time and used this song by Stevie wonder. It was beautiful! These three words, youtube it so you can listen to it, it was really pretty and just perfect. I didn't even look at a song for both of us to use, it just worked out that way!

These three words!
When was the last time
That they heard you say
Mother or father, I love you
And when was the last time
That they heard you say
Daughter or son, I love you

Ones you say you cherish everyday
Can instantly be taken away
Then you'd say I know this can't be true
When you never took the time
To simply tell them "i love you"

When was the last time
That they heard you say
Sister or brother, I love you
And when was the last time
That they heard you say
Darling or best friend, I love you

The one for whom you'd give your very life
Could be taken in the twinkling of an eye
Through your tears you'd ask why did you go

Knowing you'd didn't always show
Just how much you loved them so

These three words
Sweet and simple
These three words
Short and kind
These three words
Always kindles
An aching heart to smile inside

My husband and his mom danced to A Wonderful World at our wedding and it was awesome.

If you're looking for something a little more upbeat I know that a lot of people have used "Take your Momma" by Scissor Sisters...download the song and see what you think! It's a fun one.
