We have a family reunion to go to tomorrow and part of it will be outside. The mosquito's are getting pretty thick again. Any recommendations to keep my little 4 month old boy safe?
Thanks!

On my babies I tuck a Bounce dryer sheet in their diaper. Mosquitos will stay away and you don't have to worry about putting any type of sustance on the baby's skin. My oldest daughter had bad baby skin problems and this worked like a charm. I would also put one or two on his stroller. Have fun!!

You can use anything for children 6 months and up I personally use the skin so soft sun screen plus bug replent. But since your son is to young you might have to just stick with using cintronella candles, torches or anything that you can put outside to keep them away. Your doctor might know of a cream to put on him directly but I'm not sure since he is so young. Good luck!

Just for future reference, One Step Ahead (online store) makes a very nice bug repellent wipe. Its all natural. I looked at reviews on it before making the purchase, and everyone had great things to say about it.

Baby's R Us has mosquito netting to stretch around a stroller or baby carrier. They cost about $5, but I loved having one when I would go to the park and even over her pack and play.

I don't know of anything you can actually apply to a baby that small.

Avon's Skin So Soft was found to repell mosquitos. Call your local Avon rep and see if she has it in stock. I used to sell Avon and people swear by it.

I LOVE Burt's Bees brand. It has lemongrass oil in it and is all natural. It's a bit oily but works great! You can get it at Target in the health and beauty section.
