Unless your parental rights were terminated, you have a legal right to see your daughter. He cannot keep her from you - this is illegal. I do not know if you are financially able to afford a lawyer - but it sounds like you need consult one. Just because he was awarded custody does not mean he can tell you that you cannot see her. If you cannot afford a lawyer - there are many programs that offer legal aid to people that are under a certain income bracket. I am a retired police officer. The police cannot help you. This is not a criminal matter. An order would've come form Domestic Court and is a civil matter.

Whether or not there is a court order, you need to talk with an attorney. If there is a court order giving you visitation rights then you'll need to go back to court and report that your ex is not allowing visits. If there isn't a court order then you need to go to court to get one.

You said you get to see her "2 week." What does that mean? If you are seeing her twice/week and that is what the order says and you want more time then you have to go back to court and ask for more time.

You said you were 17 when you had her, how old were you when you became pregnant? And how old was he? If you were 16 and he was over 18..... Well you may be able to go back to court on a different charge against him and get your daughter back. But what ever you do don't let him Bully you if he dosn't follow court orders then he going against the courts and again he can be charged for that. Start document EVERYTHING he does or dosn't do, times,dates,messages.Keep all texts he sends record all phone conversations. But never bait him a judge will be able to tell.

There may be free legal aid you can contact. It sounds like he's withholding visitation illegally. Does he have full legal and physical custody? If not, then you have rights, too. You may need to go to court to pursue them.

If you were awarded visitation in the divorce documents then he is violating those and that is illegal. You need to call the cops if he refuses to abide by the judges orders and find out about a lawyer or legal aid to take him back to court for violation. Fight for your baby girl....my heart is breaking for you, I can't imagine how difficult it must be.

Document, document, document. Any time he doesn't allow you your time, he is in violation of the court oder. You need to get this in court. Contact legal aide if you can't afford an attorney. Be the biggest thorn in his side you can be until you have your time w/ your daughter.

If you have a court order, call the police if he does not let you have her when it is your scheduled time. It is not his choice it is a matter of what is legal and what is not.

If he is violating a written court order of when you should see her you should be calling the police and taking him back to court to enforce the agreement. How old is she now? Where are you at now financially?
