My daugter will be three in March and I want to investigate preschool options for next year. I am a stay at home Mom, so am looking to something 2 or 3 days per week for a couple of hours. Looking for recommendations for north king county/Shoreline area. Any help would be so appreciated!

Thanks,

S.

Look into your local Community College. They usually have a Co-op Preschool. It will include a two or three day a week class where you go with your child one day a week with your child. You meet other parents with kids your age. They also include parent discussion of child development. It doesn't cost as much as private preschool.

Hi! I am a parent coordinator with the Mill Creek Co-op and think it is wonderful too - http://www.edcc.edu/pared/Parent%20Cooperative%20Preschool/ is the link to find several in your area - it has the Center for families as listed in another response plus some more that are near you - Mountlake Terrace and Edmonds co-op preschools. It is wonderful to be in the beginnings of a childs education experience and it is for a small amount of time per week. I highly recommend it. Both my kids have been in the co-op and it has been lots of fun. Plus it gives some parent education and it is nice to be able to discuss parent issues with other parents. We have made some really great friends over these past 4 years.

Look into the shoreline children's center or some co-op preschools! We go to center for families co-op in Lynnwood, at Edmonds community college and love it! Www.cffcoop.org
