I am looking to buy invitations that I will print myself. I don't care for ones that are available at office supply stores, nor do I want the "fill in the blank" kind. The occasion is a baby's baptism so I'm looking for something nice, not necessarily formal, but nice. If you have seen something around town or know of a place I can but stationary, please reply! If you have had a good experience with doing this online, please share the site. Thank you!!
I tried to find Pennysmith's because it is closest to me, but couldn't. I then ended up at Gatherings, which was wonderful. Not what I had in mind exactly - but the prices included printing and the customer service was great. So that's where I stayed but will keep the other places in mind for other occasions. Thank you all who helped me with locations and shops.
My mother in law, Kathe Haskell, sells beautiful invitations/announcements with fine paper. She works for a paper shop out of Oakland, CA. She even works with artists to personalize with handpainted touches if you desire. She did our baby announcements and they came out beautiful. hi, Gatherings, is up on Montgomery and Eubank. they are excellent and have beautiful stuff. you might try that.:)
On Paper next to Souper Salads at Menaul and Wyoming has some top notch products. I found them to be beautiful, elegant and they have many to choose from. Prices felt a little high, but then, I do most invites myself.
Papers at Knob Hill is great - located kind of around the corner from the coop I believe. It has good stuff to create your own invites or buy cool ones. :)
Try Pennysmith's - they are on Rio Grande north of Candelaria in the shopping center with the Flying Star. They have lots of beautiful stationary to choose from.
