We are new to the area and are looking for a pediatrician. I've heard great things about Plano Presbyterian but do not know about the other hospitals (Methodist Regional in Richardson, etc.). The first pediatrician recommended to us is in an older office and goes to Methodist Regional. Can you let me know if you have a doctor to recommend and what hospital he/she is affiliated with?
I take my boys to Dr. John Porter off in Richardson. We live in Allen but really like him.

im not sure where in richardson you are, but i work in richardson and take my daughter to Dr. Finkelman at Pediatric Associates of Dallas. The office is off of greenville and walnut hill, i think is the cross street. not far from richardson at all. its right across the street from Presby Dallas. i LOVE him. and...there are about 15 other drs in that group..i havent taken her to all of them but probably 6 or 7 of them. no complaints! heres the website: www.padnewsletter.com

Dr Blair or Dr Straughn at Forest Lane Pediatrics. They have offices at Medical City Dallas and Plano Presby. Awesome docs!
Daniel Nale is at Medical City around 75 and Forest. I work with pediatricians in the Metroplex since I am in healthcare and he's one of the best out there. He's only accepting newborn patients, though. Dr. Nale has privileges at both Medical City and Children's Medical Center.

I love, love, love everyone from the front desk to the 2 doctors and PA at Raintree Pediatrics in Allen. Not associated with any hospital but very near Allen Presby. I am a prenatal yoga instructor and when asked I tell all of my students about them. My son is 3 and he has been there since birth. I can't say enough good things. We see Dr. Cook (the Dr. in charge, for lack of a better description) and Sabrina (PA). My son loves them both, again I can't say enough wonderful things about them.
Daniel Myint --- I have been using him for 14 years and he is wonderful! Great bedside manner and also great with the kids. His number is ###-###-#### and he is associated with teh hospital that changes names all the time at 15th/Coit in Plano and probably the one at Campbell/75 -- his office is very close to there.

Got to agree with the Forest Lane Pediatrics vote. I was just there yesterday, and even though they were running behind, I didn't feel rushed at all, and Dr Straughn even suggested a breathing treatment for my daughter, then came BACK in to see her a 2nd time. And Medical City has a great children's hospital.
We love Dr. John Porter. I know he us affiliated with Medical City.
