I am looking for a good hair salon\stylist in the Gurnee area. I've had a few bad experiences and am affraid to try a new place! Help! Any suggestions would be VERY helpful!
S.! I love Mary's Hair Gallery in Lake Villa. There are 2 stylists there that are amazing. Mary herself, although she can be tough to get an appointment with if you want your hair cut right away or there is Laura who is just as good. I highly recommend both! Good Luck!

I go to Paradise Salon in Lake Villa, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way Brittany Crutchfield does my hair- I have never been happier. She's very reasonable,she young and really good.

I can understand having a bad experience with a stylist, or a salon!
I am a stylist myself and became one after I had already finished my nursing degree. I am currently on bed rest with my pregnancy, but I do know of a few great places in the area. I live in the bristol/antioch area. There is a great place in Paddock Lake called Great Endings. The phone number is ###-###-####. I work there as well and I do recommend Heather while I am on maternity leave. The other place that I have heard good reviews about was Octagon Salon. I don't know any of the girls there personally, but I do go to shows in the area, and the girls are very talented. I hope this helps!

I have been using Jaclyn at Hair Cuttery in Gurnee next to Target. I will ask what her opinion is and she will walk me through her suggestions. She takes her time and she is real personable. She has done both cuts and color for me.
