Hi L.,
I've been going to Clintmoore animal hospital on Clintmoore/Lyons for years they're great. Dr.butzer is very popular but he tends to have a wait. I see dr. Chadwick who I like a lot, he's easier to get into. I've also heard caluso who someone suggested is very good depending on which is closer for you...

This South of Boca but they are really nice, they take good care of our 2 dogs and I think their prices are very reasonable.

Hi L.,
I have been using Calusa Animal Hospital for about 7 years. They have recently built a brand new facility on Clint Moore and Congress. They have conventional vet medicine as well as an entire division which is alternative. That's the part I mostly use. I use Dr. Martin. She is wonderful. She does homeopathy for animals, which I prefer. They will work within your budget if you say you need that, meaning they will go with the least invasive plans first. Love them.
Good luck.

Had two shih tzus I treated there for years until their passing last year at age 17. Now have two cats that go there.

Also, a great Holistic Pet Food place right on Congress and S. Rogers Circle. Great people. Family owned.

I absolutely agree with Jennifer's recommendation of Clintmoore Animal Hospital. They are wonderful! Dr. Butzer is great, but like she said, you almost always have a long wait time to get an appt. and also when you get there to see him. Dr. Butzer gets on the floor and will love on your dog when you are there for the visit, actually, I think all the vets I have seen at that office do that. They are just nice, super nice people and such animal lovers! My parents took our golden retrievers to Dr. Butzer over 10 years ago, and even when they moved to Stuart (over an hour away), they brought their sick golden to see him.

Hi L.,
I'm not sure how far, if at all you're willing to drive but I have an amazing vet. I wish I knew a ped or OB as good as him. His name is Dr. Sessa. He's at Hollywood animal hospital down in Hollywood. It's about 1/2hour from Boca. I live 1/2 north in Wellington and still drive all that way just to see him. He's that good. He's been treating our family dogs close to 20years. He's extremely honest. The prices are reasonable and he won't run extra tests in order to jack up your bill as I've heard others do. The facility is state of the art and has a 24hour emergancy room. He brought my dog back from the brink of death when she had a siezure outside and was near the end due to heat exahustion. (she had epilepsy which he sucessfully treated for over 6 years). I know it's a little further then some, but trust me he's worth the drive. Sorry for all the misspellings, I'm typing this on my iPhone. :-)
Good luck with your move.
H.
