Hello J.,

I want to pigback on to a couple of the other suggestions for Northwest Clinic For Children. We have been in the Valley for 11 years now and have been with this practice for that long. I have 2 - 20 yr old boys, a 10 yr old boy and a 7 yr old girl. This is where my OBGYN recommended because this is where he takes (took) his children. We have seen all of the docs but primarily see Dr. Karen Kenndey. I really like Dr Galles for the boys once they get old enough to be more comfortable with a male doc then a female. They are ALL wonderful doctors so you wouldn't go wrong with any of them. They are located in the vicinity of 35th Ave & Greenway. ###-###-#### is the office number.

Don't go to sunset family physicians in Litchfield Park.

I also go to Northwest Clinic for Children as another mother mentioned below. My daughter is only three months old but I have been VERY satisfied with their service. They are located at 35th Ave and Greenway.

We like Cactus Children's Clinic on Thunderbird & 59th Ave, right across the street from Banner Thunderbird Hospital. I have found them to be thorough, kind, and respective of the choices you make as a parent.

Welcome back to the valley!

Hi Tia,
A couple of questions for you first:

What part of town are you living in? And, is your child typically developing or does she have a chronic medical condition or a special need?

I will know better who to refer you to with this information.

Northwest Clinic for Children on 32nd Drive & Greenway in Phoenix. It is the best. I went there as a child, worked there for two years before my first child was born, and I now take both my sons there. It is where many medical professionals in the Valley take their children (I know, I've seen the files :) Anyway, their number is ###-###-####. There are five doctors there: Dr. Carl Irwin is amazing, wonderful bedside manner. I LOVE him. He is one of the founding members (just turned 60 a couple of years ago). Dr. David Galles is great, always spends extra time to make sure he's got the right diagnosis before sending you on your way. Dr. Kristin Kaus, Dr. Karen Kennedy, & Dr. Pamela Bingham are the three other docs...all wonderful. And there are 3-4 nurse practitioners, too. They also have 3 separate waiting rooms: one for sick kids, one for well kids, and one for adolescents. Obviously, I love this place...I could go on and on.

Edited to add the website: www.nwcchildren.com

I have a daughter too, about your little girls age..my first as well. We have been going to desert ridge children's center and love it. The office is clean, the doctor is so personalble, and he has two NP's who are great as well. If you are near that area they are the ones to see. I asked around and got a couple people who recommended north scottsdale pediatrics down by shea. we aactually went to them first, and I was more than displeased with the whole experience. The physician was kind and knowledgable, but the staff was rude and the facility was more filthy than our dogs vetranarian. At one point the Medical assistant, held my six month down with his thigh to keep her still. He also laughed at me when I asked him if they could give her two shots at a time and told me right out that that was the stupidest thing he has ever heard. Wherever you decide to go....do not go to north scottsdale peds on shea.

Dr. Michael is by far my fave - but a really great group of people here!! Not at all like a "clinic" - Dr. Michael knows us by name on sight - my son(7yrs), my nephew (10mos), and my best friend's daughter (10yrs) all go to CCC.

We see Dr. Ashley Hineman (she may still be on maternity leave). We like everyone else there, all great doctors; however, second best is Dr. Kristin Shepard.

Welcome back to the valley! =)
