I am in Flower Mound and am trying to find a housecleaner. I am not a perfectionist but there are the things there are things that are important to me:
detailed oriented - I am a big picture gal... I can pick up just fine I need help with the deep cleaning.
Non- judgemental - I want someone who is happy to help! Sounds funny but really I don't want to feel like I am being judged about my dust and dirt. : )
Reasonable rate - I want to pay someone fairly but I am also really trying to budget this in so I am looking to find a reasonable rate. Any ideas on what the going rates would be super helpful too!
I have at least 2 friends who would love to find someone like I described..... I am hoping to be able to afford someone at least monthly! I have a 2800 square home but most of the time I would just want the downstairs cleaned. Our upstairs only has guest rooms so I would only want that cleaned before guests.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!!!! This is a big step for me I haven't had any help since I was pregnant and now my daughter is almost 7.
I evy you living in Flower Mound and having the opportunity to use Buckets and Bows. They are the best cleaning people. The owner is also responsible for creating a wonderful service to people with cancer. It helps them with this chore at a very difficult time. I hope you will give them a try.
Hellen with Team One Pristine Cleaning is fantastic! She is very non-judgemental. She also pays good attention to the details. She is thorough enough for anyone. I don't know what she would charge as she sets her rates based on the area to be cleaned and how deep you want. Give her a call, there is no charge to ask! I read the responses you have so far and wanted to add to them.
I live in Flower Mound and currently use a company called Royalty Cleaning and have had the same lady that cleans my home each week for the past year plus. Her name is Lizbeth. I am not sure if they are accepting new clients but you can always ask.
Lizbeth is never judgmental, in fact I run a child care from my home, and have many pets (dogs, cat, and birds!) so there is plenty of mess, stuff to clean around, dog hair and such and she never complains. She is always happy to help and offers to do unexpected extras like clean my bird perches on occasion!
They charge me $75 each cleaning to clean my first floor (about 1600 sq ft) consisting of 1+1/2 baths with Jacuzzi tub and sep shower, double sinks, toilets, large mirrors etc., 1 bedroom, Living room, dining area and kitchen.
They do the dusting/window blinds, vacuum AND mop the hard floors, vacuum the carpet and soft furniture, wash/change the bedding, clean the microwave, countertops, stovetop, dishes (if any) and the sink.
Once a month I have them clean the entire house 4000 sq ft. and they charge me $120 for all, including 2 add'l baths, 3 add'l bedrroms, an office and gameroom.
They do charge me extra to clean my out my fridge or my oven.

I will admit I did not shop around for price so I do not know if this is reasonable or what to expect but it seemed fair to me and I am satisfied w/their service.

Deb Aycock has cleaned my home and my mother's home for a long time. As a Realtor, I have had her do make readys for homes that I have sold/leased. She is very good and very reasonable compared to others I have had clean my home. Give her a call, she will come out and go over what you want done and quote you a price based on size of your home, the frequency and type of cleaning you want done.
