Joovy Caboose Stroller Opinions

I am looking at the Joovy caboose stroller for my 3 yr old and 15 month old. The reviews are pretty much 50/50 as to likes and dislikes. Anyone here have one and if so do you like/dislike it? I have a BabyJogger double that I love, but I am looking for something more compact to keep in my car all the time. My 3 year old gets tired easy so I can't rely on him walking for long distances, plus my 15 month old weighs about 27 lbs, so I can't carry him for long distances. Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks

I love my Joovy stroller. I have 3 girls and the older two enjoy sitting/standing in the back while my 2 yr old sits up front. It's also lightweight and easy to fold up. Only disadvantage is minimal storage.

I LOVE my Joovy Caboose Stroller!!! I also have a 3 year old and 16 month old. I travel alot with the 2 kids by myself and it is the best thing to maneuver through the airport. It is compact, easy to open and my 3 year old loves the freedom to sit or stand when she would like.
The downside is that it does not have a lot of storage but the compartment does stretch and I fill it up very nicely!.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!

I also have this stroller for my 2 year old and 6 month old. They both enjoy it, particularly now that the little one can use it without the carseat attachment so the 2 year old gets more space. He loves to run and help push the stroller so it's perfect for us because he can sit down to take a break when he needs to but can get up quickly and easily to walk with me as well. I agree that there isn't much storage space but it's been adequate for our needs so far. I also have a double jogger for doing Stroller Strides but take the Joovy Caboose pretty much everywhere else.

I actually just bought one 2 weeks ago and LOVE it! We have a large/sturdy double stroller that's perfect for long days out. We needed something that was smaller and quicker to get in/out of the car. I have a 2 1/2 y.o. and a 6 mo. old. My 2 year old says its comfy and he loves to go for "a ride" on it. We took it to National Zoo this weekend for 3 hours and he love being able to get on and off. It's very sturdy and stood the test of even having to go off the pavement...still handled well. Downside is it has a very small storage compartment. We brought a large and heavy cooler with a strap to the zoo and were able to slip it over the handle. We tested it first and even with no kids in it, it didn't tip the stroller. I highly recommend it!

We have had one for about a year now and it has it advantages and disadvantages. It is usually easier to get the older child to get into this one and it is great if you are somewhere like the zoo or something and they get out often. The sunshade is great too, it is pretty large and has great coverage plus you can take it off if you don't need it.
The only real downside is that it can be bit difficult to push with both the kids in it. Driving it is isn't that easy and it will take a bit of maneuvering.

I have the Joovy Caboose ULTRALIGHT. Not sure if that's the one you're looking at but I would highly recommend it. It's only 21 lbs! Downside, it is $100 more. But it's super easy to fold and unfold. It's perfect for my now 10-mos old and 3-yr old. The only somewhat annoying part is getting the front kid in and out as the tray doesn't swing, but comes out completely. I usually just leave it in place and drop my son in the seat, but he's not walking yet, so that may be an issue for you. I have a large Skip Hop diaper bag that fits perfectly underneath, and the parent organizer (included) is awesome! Storage is not an issue for me. I often have my friend's 3-yr old too and both big kids can sit on the jumpseat and weight is not an issue. It is very easy to maneuver (even with one hand). Good luck!

We have LOVED ours. The only downside would be wight of both kiddos. Both of mine have been hefty (especially the older one), so we grew out of it much earlier than I had anticipated. My son (2 when we bought it) was already 35 lbs. By the time he hit about 40-45 it became very hard to move around. But other than that it was WONDERFUL! It was great to take to the zoo or outlet mall. I just completely cleaned mine and would be willing to sell it at a reduced rate. Let me know if you are interested. It does have a little wear & tear b/c it is almost 3 years old now :) Given that it actually looks real good though!!
