JFF-- What TV Shows Do You Watch?

Doctor Who, since it's relaunch in 2005 with Chris Eccelston, is arguably one of the best television shows I've ever seen (and I've watched way too much television in my life.) If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. You can catch up on Netflix. And in England, it's considered a children's show, so the content never gets gratuitously violent or sexual.

In Plain Sight is also well-written, Psych and Royal Pains are good summer fare, and I love White Collar! My DVR never has a dull season.

I don't watch too much tv, but I enjoy these...

This is so lame. I don't really get to watch TV. Thanks, kids. When we're not watching Looney Tunes (old school, thank you) The TV is usually off.

But here's what I DVR all the time and hope to one day be able to usher the children out of the TV room long enough to be able to watch:

-The Daily Show - Jon Stewart is my TV boyfriend
-Cash Cab - I ride the stationary bike while testing my mind with inane trivial knowledge (Who married Charro? Why, that's Xavier Cougat, that's who!)
-Project Runway - C'mon July!!

We rotate the Kids cartoons...I switch the morning shows around every week. Nick Jr. one week. Disney the next.

I have yet to start but plan on watching...Californication, Weeds, Dexter and finish the last season of Nip Tuck. I am also gonna watch all the seasons of The Office...I get so confused when they jumble them up on the weekday episodes they air.

Wow, I watch a lot of shows that aren't even mentioned yet. Maybe I just have really bad or weird taste. So here goes: Glee, Make it or Break it, Parenthood, Pretty Little Liars, Ghost Adventures, The Biggest Loser, Survivor, The Amazing Race, Dancing with the Stars, The Tudors, Swamp People, American Pickers, The Closer and Leverage. These are all on my DVR bc they only time I can watch tv is after all the boys in my house go to bed. Oh and if it's baseball season, I watch the Braves...every night. :)

I don't watch TV much, but being from Hawaii, of course I watch Hawaii 5-0.
LOVE Alex O'Loughlin. What a hunk.
My son & Husband actually met him at the mall, and he took a photo with my Son.
Alex told my son "Hey Buddy, don't be afraid, how you doing?" and he crouched down to my son's height and hugged him and took a photo with him. So cute. Both of them. My Son now loves Alex.

And I also like to watch "Nikita" because the star of the show, is a local born woman from Hawaii. Born and raised here.
I also like the show.

I like to support shows with Hawaii connections.

I also liked "The Office."

And cooking/gardening shows, and House Hunters.

True Blood! Love this show so much!! I started on it last spring and caught myself up for the new season. Sunday starts the upcoming season and I can't wait. The guys on this show are SO hot. And I am a 44 yo mom who is most defintely not like that but there is something about these vampire guys.

24 -an amazing show-I never watched it in real time but got it to watch on my treadmill. It is SO good that I can work out for the whole show just to see what happens. I highly suggest getting it on netflix.

I will have to look into Game of Thrones.

Dexter! Such an awesome show.

True Blood starts tomorrow (season 4), but the show has gone downhill from the first season.

Others I like: Chuck, Castle, Big Bang Theory, Psych, Grey's Anatomy (was a lot better in the earlier seasons), Breakout Kings. Some new ones that have just started that I'm going to check out are Franklin and Bash, Suits, Falling Skies, and Rookie Blue.

Big Love, The Office, Downton Abbey, Later With Jules, Family Guy, American Dad, The Sopranos (DVD), personal documentaries, medical documentaries, theological documentaries. For some reason natural science and animal documentaries bore me! Oh, and Hoarders, and How Clean Is Your House! They always make me feel better. Must be a schadenfruede (sp?) thing!

Doctor Who- I watch it so much on Netflix Watch Instantly, my husband wont let me watch it with him around anymore b/c he's burnt out! But he'll still watch the ones from the 70s and 80s with me, so I get away with it that way. :-)

Whoohoooo The Young and The Restless... I watch it religiously... I mean, I feel like my day is not complete with out my stories. It's the only one I watch. But I also love Chopped, iron chef America, and Next food network star on the Food Network. And my show that comes and go is nurse Jackie. But most of all I love my Y&R.... And allmost anything that comes on TLC

How I Met Your Mother!!!

I wish we had HBO, I totally would have loved to watch "Game of Thrones." I've read the series and am impatiently waiting for the last book of the series to be written. When the show comes out on Netflix I'm gonna snatch it right up!
I usually watch Food Network shows at night when the kiddo's are sleeping and hubby's working. If hubby and I are having a date we really enjoyed watching "Pillars of the Earth" and if you liked "Game of Thrones" you will really like Pillars. Another show we really got into was "Dexter." I'm embarrassed to admit that I actually liked it, more so the plot then the actual idea behind it.

i dont have cable, on purpose, trust me i love it, but what i want to see i can wait for on my netflix.

I like game of thrones also (read the books before I saw the series).

Other shows I watch are The Walking Dead, Big Bang Theory, Eureka, Falling Skies (new sci-fi series on TNT that just started) & Top Chef.

I mostly like comedies, The Daily Show (obviously) The Colbert Report, The Office, Parks and Rec, 30 Rock, Modern Family, Curb Your Enthusiasm.
I also like Mad Men but it's SO long between seasons.

I watch very little TV, but love Parenthood, Men of a Certain Age, Friday Night Lights, and Modern Family. I also watch the news.

Other than that, I listen to the radio in the car, and at home I love silence . . . aaaahhhhhh.

How do you ladies find the time?

I haven't watched tv in years except for Fox News Channel, love Bill O'Reilly
