You can get false negative tests but you can not get false positive tests. You are pregnant :-) Grats!

Which one was negative, first, middle or last? If the first one was negative, and the rest positive, then the first was probably take too early. If the last one was negative, I would go to doc and get blood HCG level. This will confirm if you are pregnant or not. Good luck.

probably - false negatives are much more common than false positives.

My OB said there are no false positives...only false negatives. =0) I'd say you're preggo! Schedule an appt. with your doctor asap to confirm. Also, start taking those prenatals now! =0) Congrats, mom!

If you read the test correctly and within the described time period...congratulations you are pregnant.

Different brands of tests have different sensitivity, so the one test that came up negative might just be less sensitive or even defective.

It is very rare to get a false positive, however, if you waited too long to read the test, there is a possibility of misinterpretation of evaporation lines.

Good luck.

It is much more likely the negative is the wrong one. You'll almost never have a false positive. So, congrats! I'd head to the doc to be sure but it sounds to me like someone's waking up a stork!

A false positive is VERY unlikely, so the fact that you think you have two false positives just isn't likely. You're pregnant.
Make sure you're taking vitamins and folic acid. Call your midwife or OB to see when they want to start seeing you.

It's impossible to get a false positive - it looks for a hormone that is only there if you are pregnant. It's common to get false negatives because some tests aren't as sensitive as others and miss tiny traces of the hormone. Congrats!

I would say yes! Call your doc to set up an appt just to make sure. They'll do a pee test and probably a blood test as well. Congrats! :D

I have never heard of a false positive on a pregnancy test. A negative could simply mean there wasnt enough hormone present. I'd say you're probably pregnant!

I would say yes. But I am not a doctor which is who yu should be calling. If not a docotr then a free clinic in your area to go and take a pregnancy test there. Did all of the pregnancy tests come out of the same package? Could be that they are faulty but I doubt it.
