Our headboard has a nice grease/oil stain from my husbands hair that's accumulated over the years. The headboard is from crate and barrel and pretty nice, woven cloth. Is there anyway to get the stain out?

ETA : Very sorry! I totally forgot I already asked this question before :(.

What can I do next?

Gonna go with my original answer:

Yes.
But please only try the shampoo on his head, don't steam clean it!
(Sorry, couldn't resist!😛--again!)

Is it oil from his head or product he uses on his hair?
I'd probably try anything & everything to see what works. Because stained, it's ruined.
If you ruin it with cleaners? Get a wooden headboard!

Did you try any of the suggestions that were given in January?

If none of those worked then call Stanley Steamer or a company like that.

Laundry detergent and Dawn dish soap are both made to cut through oils even that from humans. I would try one of those first (one that is clear so you don't end up with a different stain).

dawn dishsoap should take care of the grease but use a clear or color soap thats close to the color of the headboard so you don't end up with a diferent problem

I thought this question looked familiar. Really you aren't going to get different answers this time around so if you tried everything suggested last time and it didn't work then maybe you need to recover the headboard or change over sealed wood that won't stain.

You can rent a Rug Doctor and get the attachments for cleaning furniture too.

Then use something that will clean an oily stain. I'd plan on it either working or getting rid of the headboard. That sounds like it is something that will continue.
