Hi Moms....how old were your children when they started sleeping with pillows? And how old were they when you moved them to a Toddler bed? My son just turned 2 and he has made 0 attempts to climb out of his crib, and I am in no hurry to move him necessarily, but I was just curious....Thanks!
my son was 1 in a half year when i move him to toddle bed and he love it and the same time i give him a pillow but he didn't want it until he was 5 years when he start to sleep with his pillow
We gave our 3 year old a pillow and now he loves them. We use the smaller kind. Our Son was climbing out of the crib at 2 1/2, so we got a crib tent and no more climbing out of the bed anymore! It worked great. We got a toddler bed closer to when he was 3 and moved him over to the toddler bed then.
My son turned 2 in June, and about that time I got him a travel size pillow. I'm moving him to a big bed in the next month or so, and I don't know if he'll keep the travel pillow or a regular one then. But for the crib, the travel size works great!
My daughters started using pillows when they were 2-3, but we got the thinnest ones we could possibly find.

I moved my son out when he was 20 months old he never climbed out of his either. He started using a pillow regular size when he was 18 months old.
We moved my son to a toddler bed in January before he turned 2 in March. He hadn't tried to crawl out of his crib either, but we were traveling later that month and he would be sharing a "big kid" bed with his brother. So we thought why not? We put him in it and he went like 2 months before figuring out that he could crawl out of the bed! Enjoy that while it lasts! :) When we moved him to his toddler bed, we gave him a pillow too, but it is fairly flat. When we moved him to a toddler bed, it really hit home that he wasn't a baby any more! Sniff Sniff
We mover our son to a toddler bed at 2 1/2. I was in no hurry to move him but he was in a big hurry to climb out! He has ad a full sized pillow since he was about 18months. Its very flat and not very fluffy so it works great. He sleeps with a big stuffed pillow as well but he just curls up next to it.
