Hey moms! I'm needing a new gynecologist. I used to go Dr. Van Dell & he was great, but that was when I had Medicaid. Now I have United Healthcare through work, & unfortunately he is not on the list of approved doctors. I live in the Las Colinas area, but am willing to travel like to Grapevine, Flower Mound, & other surrounding areas (the closer the better.) I prefer a guy I think. At first, I wasn't sure, but Dr. Van Dell was really friendly & I felt comfortable.
Also, I do have a pediatrician who works out pretty well, but isn't outstanding...just wondering if you have any suggestions in that area as well. My daughter is 4 years old (not sure if that matters.) :) Thanks a bunch!
I don't know any men ob/gyn's but I like Dr. Ramos @ Tuscan OB/GYN and I like Dr. Tamecko (pediatrician) at The Pediatric Center of Las Colinas. The great thing is that they are both located in the same building. Hope this helps...
I absolutely love Dr. Ramos (gyno) in Las Colinas. She is a woman but she's so wonderful I really think you should give her a try. Also Dr. Staub in the same practice is good as well. Dr. Ramos is my Dr but Staub delivered by baby because Ramos was out of town. My daughter went to Dr. Tameko in Las Colinas for a while but we live in Colleyville so we moved to someone closer. Tameko came highly recommended to me, even my gyno brings her kids there.
We use the drs at Medical Center at Riverside. Dr Peters delivered both of my kids and has kept me healthy the past decade or so. He is very gentle and loving. Dr(s) Katzen, yes there are two of them, Ken and Kevin are wonderful family drs. My husbands family has seen Ken for the past two decades or so. His NPs are wonderful Susan Carlson has a PHd in Nursing. They are all in the same offiice building.

Dr. Joe Behan at Glennlakes OB/GYN. HIs office is in the Glennlakes tower next to Dalla Presby. I LOVE Dallas Presby hospital, too. He found my hypothyroidism (finally got pregnant once that was solved within two weeks!). May be far for you, but I like him so much I drive from North Carrollton!
