I am considering taking my two girls to Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City over our Spring Break. I am wondering how many days we should plan to be there. Of course I do not plan on staying over our entire spring break, but do have some time to stay there. I just don't know how many days would be good and not too much of a good thing! My girls will be 6 years old and 21 months at the time. Thanks!

What can I do next?

Hello!
I would highly recommend going to Great Wolf Lodge!! We took our boys there last May - our oldest was a few days away from turing 4 and our youngest was 2 1/2. We stayed for two nights and we had a great time! Sleeping the first night did not go so well, but that was just because they have only ever slept in their own beds at home. The second night went much better. We also spent one afternoon at Sleeping Bear Dunes - our boys loved that as well - we took their shovels and buckets along and they just played in the sand while my hubby and I enjoyed the beautiful view :) Whatever you decide, have a wonderful spring break!

I can't imagine staying there more than 2 nights. It's exhausting! 2 nights allows you to play for 3 days because you can stay all day after check out. By the end of the 2nd day, the slides, etc. do start to get a little boring. Break up the monotony with the great kids programs, eating, and naptimes and you should be good. Don't be afraid to go off site for food...the restaurants in the hotel are very expensive.

My 4 year old LOVES Great Wolk, we have taken her twice and she talks about going back ALL the time. We usually go for 1 night but a lot of my friends go for 2. She loves the water park and they always have other activities going on as well. Have fun!

Personally I think 2 full days is a good amount. It is steamy in the water park and with a 21 month old and 6 year old you are going to find they want to do 2 different things. They will love the park but it will get tiring on you. Personally I am ready after one full day at the park. It can be pricey there so be prepared. You will have a good time it is really geared towards family and kids.
