Does anyone know of any natural ways to increase fertility? I started taking Evening Primrose Oil pills b/c they are said to do that but I was wondering if anyone knew of anything else that would help naturally. Thanks in advance.

What can I do next?

I don't know of any kind of supplements to increase fertility, but I have to pass on the advice to read Toni Wechsler's book "Taking Charge of your Fertility". I've read it about 4 times, and successfully identified our fertility problem before we needed a doctor. In our case, we just weren't in the same city on the right days, and for our 2nd, my fertile period was very, very short.
The book outlines a basic way to understand whether you're fertile, by just being aware of the consistency of your cervical fluid, and (if you really feel like it), charting your temperature every morning. It's pretty awesome, and way cheaper than ovulation kits, and a lot less nerve wracking than tons of tests. Try it. Then, once you have a few months of charts, go see your doctor & see if you really need to increase your fertility.

I actually know TWO different women who SWEAR that they got pregnant because of their acupuncture treatments. They had tried EVERYTHING, spent boatloads of money and nothing was happening. Out of desperation, but feeling very skeptical, they tried acupuncture and became pregnant within 2 or 3 months. These two women didn't know each other, but their stories were very similar.

Something to look into, maybe?

I don't know if this will work, but my friend swears it worked for her. She went gluten free and cut a few other things out of her diet, I just remember the gluten. She did a lot of research on diet and fertility online. She was on fertility drugs and after 2 miscarriages was told by her doctor that it would be near impossible to get pregnant again. She stopped all treatments, changed her diet and was pregnant in 2 months and had a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby girl.

Have you been tested though for everything fertility wise? Thing is I was trying acupuncture but in the end I turned out to have a thyroid issue which was the reason I couldn't get pregnant. So I wasted time and money when nothing natural would have worked for me. I would suggest getting every fertility test possible first before trying homeopathic remedies to increase fertility because you will be wasting time and money to pursue natural fertility increases IF there is indeed a real medical issue why you can't get pregnant.

Also if you get tested and in fact you have a medical issue why you and your partner cannot get pregnant, I have a fertility doctor /practice that I cannot recommend highly enough - Cecilia and Peter Sarosi. (husband and wife team) http://www.ofrm.com/html/doctors.html

They were outstanding in every way - attention, service, cost etc. They helped me get pregnant.

I'm not saying don't pursue natural ways to increase fertility but just do it in the context of knowing your body and your partner's body so you don't waste time/money.

Good luck.

I've heard some people swear by accupuncture and also a vegan diet to increase fertility. (I'm not sure exactly how the vegan diet helps; maybe just because it makes you healthier overall.) I tried the diet, but not accupuncture (no reputable ones in my area). It didn't work for me.....We have a beautiful daughter (almost 5 now) who we adopted from birth. :)

DHEA. try to get 25mg capsules and take 3 times a day. If you can get micronized that's best for absorption.
