Can anyone recommend an AWESOME pediatrician in the Mckinney area? My daugher goes to All About Children now and become more and more upset with them on a daily basis... My daughter has weight issues, and I need a new pediatrican ASAP.

What can I do next?

I also recommend Dr. William Kessinger over at Pediatrics Healthcare Associates. I know someone said that they did not like him in the practice, but I have loved him. He seems very knowledgable & he also did a fellowship at Vanderbilt in Ped ICU (so good knowledge base). He has a good bedside manner and makes my son feel very confortable (who is 4 years old.) I have seen everyone in the practice and I also really like the new ped - Dr. Virginia Menchaca - she has an amazing way with the kids! She might even be my first choice in the practice. Good Luck!

My one year old goes to Dr. Bill Kessinger at Pediatric Healthcare Associates on El Dorado. I've really liked going to him. I never have to wait long to be seen, and I always get to see him when I go, although if I needed to, I know I would trust the other doctors in his practice. He's very caring towards my daughter, and he is patient with answering all my questions.

We have loved Raintree Pediatrics (I already put a referral out there). I've also heard that Dr. Moulton's office is great. Dr. Moulton is at Prebyterian of Allen (really close if you live in the Southern half of McKinney like we do...you don't even have to get on the freeway, you can just take Lake Forest/Watters across), and Raintree Pediatrics is across the street from Presby Allen. We've been through a lot of illnesses with our daughter this year (including pneumonia that put her in the hospital) and Raintree Pediatricshas been great through everything. We usually see Amber or Dr. Cook, but Sabrina is great too...we've never been seen by Dr. Smith.

E.,

My daughter's pediatrician is Dr. Nicole Sutton with Pediatric Healthcare Associates off of Eldorado and Hardin Blvd area. There's 3 other doctors in the practice (I wouldn't recommend the male doctor). Dr. Sutton is a more conservative doctor and doesn't like to take chances--she wants to be 100% sure that when she diagnoses something, she's 100% right. Here's their info:

There are some good pediatricians & practitioners at McKinney Pediatrics ###-###-####. We like everybody over there EXCEPT FOR Dr. Verneer. You can specify you don't want Verneer. Dr. Neal is good.

We see Dr. Jeffery Alvis's nurse practitioner, Betsy. She's great. Our son has some respiratory issues as well as a problem aspirating fluids and she has been able to give us answers or direct us in the correct place when other haven't. She's great! The name of the practice is Stonebridge Pediatrics. They are located at the corner of Ridge and El Dorado! Good luck!
