My daughter saw a commercial. She really wants what ever it is for christmas. I can't figure out what the product is, other than some Puppy. Can you help? She calls it a Puppy that Dives Down and Up (swims) and walks. Her brother said something about it wearing swim goggles but he could be making that up. Any clue??? I don't know what chanelle or time of day she was watching TV since we don't usually watch much, but this was over the weekend when all our family was over and the kids were watching tv in the other room. I've tried googling puppies on Toys R Us but so far she hasn't recognized it.

We don't have a pool (in addition to the fact that we have 6 inches of snow right now) and our tub isn't that big. So i'm not so sure this is the toy for us, but now that i know what it is I might be able to redirect her to something that would suit us better.

I think its called "Swim to me Puppy".. I can hear the song in my head from that commercial. I volunteer/work at a childcare center in the mornings and they watch (Disney Channel) I think from 9-12. I see the commercial b/t 10:30 and 11 or so... The dog "swims" in water and it wears goggles.
I think it is the swim with me puppy, I saw a portion of the commercial on sprout before Diego.

I aksed my daughter and she said it is a Rescue Pet. It is called Rescue pet swims to me puppy. YOu can probably find it at Target or Walmart. Good luck!
It sounds like the "swim to me puppy" (I think that's the name). I was looking at it for a friend of mine's daughter who absolutely loves swimming. Supposedly the puppy swims when you put it the water.

If you don't want the swim to me b/c of the tub thing there are Fur Real puppies that are cute and move(with batteries) and she can play with it all over the house I think they are about $15.

I know the toy, but not the name. There's some toy dog that yes, wears swim goggles and it looks like you can put it in the pool with you and it swims. It may with The Littlest Pet Shop line, but I'm not sure. Try going back to the Toys R Us site and just looking up dog or puppy. Good luck. My 6 yo used to do the same thing. She'd see an ad for a toy on TV and immediately tell me she wanted it for Christmas or her birthday, no matter what it was. Two yrs ago she wanted a toy that I couldn't figure out for the life of me what she was saying, and it was really bothering both of us (she would almost be in tears because I couldn't understand her speech). Then I was in Target and saw a Barbie Princess Genevieve and immediately realized that was what she had been asking for. Her joy on Christmas when she opened it made all the frustration worth it.

My 2 1/2 yr old daughter has been asking for it for a month, and I had no idea what it was either, since we mostly watch channel 12 (WHYY) and there's no commercials. But I finally did see an ad on Nick Jr, it's by Rescue Pets, it's called "Swim to Me Puppy". It's really cute, a hard plastic puppy w/goggles that you can take in the pool in the bathtub. I just picked it up at Toys R US this weekend, $29.99 and I had a $10 gift card from a previous visit, so that's why I got it. Plus, it's the ONLY thing she wants this year. That'll change next year I'm sure! Anyway, it is really cute but much bigger than I expected. I'm not sure, but it may go along with a baby doll called Mommy I Can Swim or something like that. She mentions it once in a while, but has her heart set on the puppy. Anyway, I hope this helps, and have a good holiday!

Christy, this is called the Rescue Pets Swim to me Puppy. The prices that I have seen are about $29.99 amazon.com has it and says it will be available 12-4-08, Toys R us.com is currently sold out and so are the three stores Toys R Us stores that I have gone too. Be cautious with this toy, I have since been finding a lot of negative reviews about this toy from other parents that have purchased it. These reviews have changed my mind on purchasing this.
