BPA Free Bottle Recommendations

I am an expecting mom and needing to register for bottles. I do know that I want them to be BPA free, but beyond that there seem to be a ton of bottles out there to choose from, and they all seem to have negative reviews of one kind or another. I'm curious to hear of your experience with different bottles and which you'd recommend versus highly discourage! Thanks in advance!!

Hi A.,
I have used the playtex original nurser for my kids. The nipples and liners are BPA free. I have always loved these bottles, and they are easy to clean. The majority of my friends use them too. You can google BPA bottles and look up information on all the bottles. Congratulations on your soon to be...

I absolutely love the playtex nurser. They have come out with a BPA free line and I am very happy with it. You can push out all of the air from these bottles leaving the baby happy and not very gassy!

I love the MAM brand bottles. My son loved the nipple and he had digestive problems so this bottle helped with the gas. Plus they are cute :)

I love the Born Free bottles. They have an extra part in them that dramatically cuts down on the air the baby takes in. I've been using them with my son for a year now, and they have been perfect. With my first two kids, I used Avent bottles, which were fine, but they leaked. I thought all bottles leaked until I tried Born Free. Congrats on your new baby!!!

i asked this same question about 6 months ago! Susan below told me about the MAM bottle - i bought them and they have been great. glass was out of the question because we travel a lot and i didn't want the risk of a bottle breaking at an airport or other place and maybe not having what we needed on the airplane! Also they are lighter weight. My daughter nursed and we fed her my milk with this bottle until we transitioned to formula at about 10 months. She is at a year and we're weaning her onto sippy cups and glasses. She is happy to oblige, I want to keep her on the bottle because it's easier for me (lol). I had heard mam's had too many parts and difficult to clean...can't figure out what they meant - been super easy on all fronts and cute colors too.

I've had good luck with the Born Free brand. The have glass bottles and BPA free plastic ones. My son has never had gas or any issues using these bottles. Good luck to you.

The "MAM" brand bottle... BPA free.
You can get it on Amazon.com

This is what I used with my son... it is A GREAT bottle and brand. They also make other things.

Also, this bottle does NOT accumulate "bubbles" in the bottle as the baby drinks = less gas.

I would not use any other brand. When you view it on Amazon, you can also read the "reviews."

I just love this bottle!
Good luck and congrats!
