I too would try hairspray, I saw this advice here before, I thought everyone was crazy but it does work. I didn't catch mine early, my son decided to give himself and clothes some more decorations! I sprayed it on just before putting into the wash and my stain was gone much to my delight.
Good Luck

Try Simple Green. It is an old cleaner found in the automotive section, but it will get most ink stains out.

rubbing alcohol.
(the regular 72% is what most people have in their homes, but I've seen 99% on Vons/Pavilions shelves the past few years... it also takes out make up)

My dad and grandparents were drycleaners.

Put a paper towel behind the stain, use a Q-tip or such to apply rubbing alcohol to the stain and use another towel to lift it out of the fabric. Much of it will go through the back of the fabric. The stain doesn't sit on top, it soaks into the fibers. You will need to keep using a clean area of paper towel both in front and back. Don't rub it, you don't want to keep spreading it, you want to blot it out. Be patient and let the solvent work it out with repeated applications. You'll get your best results always with a fresh stain.

good luck.

You can try hairspray, it has worked for me before, but on certain materials it may ruin. If you have tried others and the shirt is ruined anyway, it can't hurt. Good luck. Oh I forgot. You put a cloth behind the stain and then soak it in hairspray and blot it out with another cloth. : )

wet ones. they are great on anything. I keep the individual wrapped packs in car, purse etc. you never know when coffee is going to spill or a pen explodes.

Try OxyClean. Spray it. Rub it. Lwt is soak for 30 min to 1 hr, and spray again. Wash out. You might have to do a couple of washings before it will come out completely, but it should work.

I always use hairspray for ink. Test in an inconspicuous area first (but if it's ruined by the ink, what do you have to lose, right?). Saturate the spot with hairspray, and watch to see if the ink starts to dissolve. If it does, there is a good chance of getting it all out. Keep spraying it and rubbing (more like scratching out the stain) with your fingernail until it's gone. Wash immediately. I have found this only works if the ink has not been touched by water first. Water seems to set the stain, so go right to the hairspray first. Good luck.

70% Alcohol will get it out. My girlfriend had spilled ink on her white carpet and when she tried it, it came right out (and she had tried a number of things to no avail). I also use it to get the permanent ink off of my 5 year olds hands when he gets ahold of the permanent markers. Works great, and causes no discomfort.

Try spraying it with hair spray before you was it. You also might try rubbing it in and letting it set for a little while and then spray it again before you wash it. Used to use this little trick when my husband was in the Navy to get the stray ink spots off of his uniforms.

Wow, lots of advice! I've never heard of using hairspray. I was going to say dye it another color, but try the hairspray first.
