My son's 2nd Birthday party is this Friday and I will admit that I am a cake snob so any ole' Walmart cake will not do. Does anyone have any recommendations for places who make great B-day cakes? I live in Denton/Corinth. Thanks.
I ordered a cake at Candy Haven. Thanks for the suggestions. I hope it is good as everyone says it is because it is EXPENSIVE! LOL
Yep, Candy Haven is awesome. You'll love it and won't go anywhere else after you have their cake. White chocolate with butter cream icing is wonderful!

Candy Haven in Denton is definatley the best place to get a cake in Denton County. If you are on a tighter budget, Davis Bakery (on Locust st. in Denton) makes really good cakes as well.

I'm not sure what part of town you are in, but my favorite bakery in Dallas is Stein's Bakery, it's in the SW corner shopping center of Preston / 635 and they have the absolute best cakes! They would do all of my cakes until we moved to Arlington (and one year I drove to Dallas to get the cake) so I know what you mean about being a cake snob, but I've never been disappointed with Stein's!
I agree about Steins bakery. We have had their cakes at work for birthday parties and they are the best cakes I have ever had.
CANDY HAVEN is the best! The past 2 years I have taken my little ones invitations up there and told them what I wanted, and they created a great cake - and tastes great too!!
