Thanks a lot for your input. It has made by hunt for the best ob/gyn easier. I have decided to go with either Dr. Laura Merritt or with Dr. Melanie Collins. They both seem equally good as per my google research and with the input that I received from you all....Thanks again

Dr. Melanie Collins is fabulous! She was my ob/gyn for both of my pregnancies. Her NP is Jennifer and she is great too. I've had only great experiences with RWG and their doctors.

Love love LOVE Dr. Laura Merritt. It is her PA who is Wendy and she shares an office with Dr. Collins. I have had two children with her, and it was great! Also, all of your needs are in one building. Dr. Darby is the "uterus picture" guy. And the lab is on the second floor.

As a doula I have had the opportunity to work with several of these groups. A couple of the ones that I really liked (had great respect for their patients) were Dr. Christine Sebestyen, and Dr. MElanie Collins and Dr. Laura Merritt. Good luck to you,

my ob/gyn is not female, but i can HIGHLY recommend Dr. Marco Uribe. he's with Austin Area Ob/Gyn and they recently moved to St David's North Austin Medical Center to better serve their clients. i believe there is a female dr. in the group but i've never seen her. Dr. Uribe is fantastic, very honest and straightforward, great bedside manner and he and everyone i've encountered in his office really seem to love what they do. also, his nurse practitioners are phenomenal women. i can't recommend them high enough. i hope this helps you!

I've lived here for just over a year and have been seeing Dr. Christina Sebestyen and highly recommend her. I've seen her 3 times and will definitely continue to see her. I've had a couple issues I had to deal with and her office got back to me quickly and the other doctors she has referred me to have worked out as well. I feel like she really listens to my concerns. What attracted me to her is her website and that she has midwives on staff. She is open to using alternative medicine such as accupuncture.

I chose Dr Meritt for my 2nd (born 2 months ago.) I thought she was very thorough and relaxed during all of my prenatal visits. She answered all my questions and was very supportive of natural childbirth. I love Dr. Darby for ultrasounds.

I've been going to Renaissance for 14 years! I see Dr. Laurette Smith, who is great (not sure she is accepting new patients though??). I hear Dr. Tara Mills is fabulous as well. I met her once while in labor with my son (she was on call). She was so kind and sweet. Loved delivering at NAMC! Great hospital. Dr. Darby is the ultrasound doctor and he is beyond fantastic!!!!! He's one of the very best in town.

Like many others, I love my doctor at Renaissance Women’s Group. I see Dr. Sherry Neyman. She has delivered both sets of my twins and is fabulous! Both of my pregnancies were high risk (multiples) and she followed my pregnancies very closely and was there for any concern I had. Her nurses are great as well.

I've also met most of the other doctors within RWG and like them as well. You would be in good hands there!

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Laura Merritt with the Renaissance Women's Group. She delivered my 3rd child and was EXCELLENT. On the other hand, we used Dr Laurette Smith for my first child and would NOT recommend her.

Dr. Christina Sebestyn is amazing. She even has her own midwifes. I had friends that swear she is the best in Austin. I hope to have my next child with her.

Dr. Melanie Collins w/ Renaissance is fabulous, and although her PA is NOT Wendy, if you're going to see a PA at Renaissance, you will want to specifically ask for Wendy.
