Baby Shower - Desoto,TX

Okay need a little more info......how many people do you plan on inviting, how dressy do you want it to be, is this a family/friend baby shower or like a co-worker?
I personally prefer the coziness of a person's home (I was thrown four separate showers when I was pregnant, 1 at work, 1 at a restaurant, and 2 in homes). If that's not a possibility, what about a local tea room? Willow Cottage in Grapevine is nice. Or maybe the Dallas Arboretum? They have a great place there that is quaint and pretty, it's the Degaulle (sp?) House.

We host cake decorating baby showers where all the guests decorate their own cakes. Many of our customers have us throw the party in Recreation Centers/YMCA where they have rented a large room and can bring their own food, etc. A lot of libraries have a room to rent as well, sometimes they are even free and also allow you to bring your own food. I gave my daughter her baby shower at Spring Creek BBQ. they have a large banquet room.

If you want it in a restaurant most olive gardens have a room kind of off a little that you can reserve. A lot of the mexican food resterauts do too. I know there is one near you that I think does but for the life of me can't think of the name. Shoot macarroni grill in Cedar Hill has one too. That one is pretty decent sized too.
