I am looking to start my own business from home and was wondering if anyone has any experience or knowledge of how to get agrant or loan to make this happen. I am a single mother trying to make a life for my daughter. I am the only contributor with no financial help.
Have you tried your local SBA (small business association)?
Also check with the local community college, they usually have a business teacher who you could meet with for help.
There is help out there for women, specifically with financing. Also when we opened our business checking account, they offered some small financing and a credit card.
