Want to find a place to hold brithday party for my 3 year old. Have found a few places on internet, Pump it Up in Lisle, Odyssey Fun World in Naperville, My Gym in Aurora, and Big Bounce Party Zone in Naperville, but don't know anything about them. Anyone have any personal experience with these places? Any other suggestions for places?

What can I do next?

My son has been to several birthday parties at Pump it Up in Lisle, so it is quite a popular place. I think it caters to more to children in the 5-7 year range though, as there is a lot of climbing to get up slides, etc, which I'm not sure that my 3 year old could do by herself.

We've also been to Odessy Fun World for a cousins birthday and I did like that place - within your party room, you can have face/hand painting which the little ones like and a pinata with strings. If you choose to, you could also just opt for the kiddies to run around in their enormous tunnel system. My 3 year old was able to climb all the way to the top by herself, and thought it was so cool to be like 2 stories up in the air.

I do not have any knowledge of the other two places you mentioned, so I guess my recommendation for a 3 year old would be to Odessy. Hope that helps! Good luck! ~K.

We just did our daughter's 1st birthday at the Dupage Children's Museum in Naperville. It worked out really nice and the kids had a great time. You can get birthday party information on their website.

odessy fun world is for older children. there is not much for three year old to do there. they are too short for the rides. pump it up is pricey but nice.

Hi, Odyssey fun world is fun, but since there may be a lot of other people there, it can get really overwheliming. We just had our 4 year olds party at the Vaughn Center (Fox valley park district, off 88 and Orchard in Aurora). It was great. They have a smaller indoor playroom, with tunnels, etc. You get the room to yourself. Plus they have a party room for you and help serve food and cake. They decorate, clean up and helped organize the presents. The kids had a great time, and it was stress free for the adults. There is also a cool indoor pool party package. the phone number is ###-###-####. Have fun! T.

I had my daughter's 3rd birthday at Pump it Up in Lisle and it was a big hit. All the kids and parents had a blast. And since then 4 of our friends have also had their kids birthday parties there. I also had my daughter's 2nd birthday at the Dupage Children's museum and that too was alot of fun for the kids. I highly recommend both.

Good luck!

Odyssey is a blast, but never been there for a bday party. You could also go along the avenue of having someone come to your house, they do all the work, you do the inviting..noclean up, no trying to organize transportation for others...check out www.arkparties.com....take care, best of luck..K.
