1. how do i remove the grungy buildup on the bottom of my bathtub? i clean it weekly but just can't seem to get the bottom of the tub as white as the sides. i've used scrubbing bubbles which i love, but it's not working for this. And I also tried bleach but that didn't help either.

2. Where can i find books for cheap, either online or in store. I've looked at amazon & half price, but they either don't have what i'm looking for or it's too much. thanks!!!

I have a girlfriend that swears by Tide on bathtubs. I have not tried it yet but plan on it at some point. I may try Mary's idea - wow...

Books can sometimes be found for cheap if a library is selling them. From time to time, they too replenish and you can get them for really cheap.

I use Bar Keepers Friend to clean the tub. Works great! And try www.abebooks.com for cheap books. Just read the listings REALLY carefully before ordering. Depending on what you're looking for you can find books for $1 + shipping.

1. Baking soda and vinegar. Make a paste with the baking soda and scrub. Put the stopper in the tub and then pour in some vinegar - the action between the acid and the base will clean up any remaining scum. There's no need for any toxic cleaners. I also will use Epsom salts as a scrub, since I usually have those in the bathroom for soaking for muscle aches.

2. If you're looking for something specific and can't find it through Amazon (who links many high quality 3rd party sellers for used books) or Half-price, you're not likely to easily find it elsewhere cheaper. I was able to find a used book authored by my great Uncle (and actually signed by his daughter) through Amazon. You might try eBay, but I think there you get into more iffy quality and less reliability.

eBay has a website that sells used books, videos, etc. The website is half.com. I have found several books for less than a dollar (not in perfect condition). You do have to pay for shipping which is usually a few dollars, but I have even with this they have the lowest prices.
